I have inherited a Marlin 20-A made in 1904, and have been unable to determine its value. Can anyone give me a ball park value or direct me to where I might find this information? It is a Marlin 22 pump with trigger, with an octagon barrel, and its magazine is as long as the barrel. It is in working condition. The writing I find on othe gun states,
"Marlin Firearms Co NEW HAVEN CT USA
PAT D Aug 12 1890 Mar 1 '92 June 8 '97 Nov 29 1904"
"Marlin No 20-A"
"22 SL & LR"
Thanks for any input!

Re: marlin model 20-A
The Marlin 20-A was the last version made by the
original Marlin Firearms company. These came
about in 1911, 1912.
The Model 18 was the first .22 cal. pump, and
that's where the original 1904 patent date came
from.
A few were made from left over parts on hand
by the Marlin Firearms Corporation. in 1922 / 23.
Then it was succeeded by the Model 37.
