1948 Marlin 336-A

I’m thinking of parting with my 1948 Marlin 336-A that has a very low 4 digit serial number of E3125. It is in excellent condition, great bore, and has a weaver K4-w scope mounted to the rifle. Would appreciate anyone in this forum providing information concerning the scarcity and value of this 1st year, low serial number 336-A. I would be open to trades also depending on what you have to trade. I also have a 1952 336-a that I am thinking of parting with in case anyone is interested.
