Marlin A1 extractor help

Still working on my 1936 A1. I ordered an extractor from Numrich and it would not fit my bolt. I don't know if they are all the same, my rifle needs the small post to be round. Anyone know where I can find one. Any help appreciated Tom

Marlin A1 question

While researching my newly acquired A1(which I have identified as a 1936 model, based on fluted stock, rear safety, 7 shot mag). I came across a posted page from a 1936 Marlin catalog, which used the term Mar-in-lay in describing the gun. Does anyone know what that is? My rifle has a light area on b...
