WTB 1893 beater stock
Looking for a straight stock with crescent butt plate for a project. Having a leather butt cuff made and the maker needs a spare stock to build it. So if anyone has a broken and/or cheap one laying around that would be perfect. I know there is a reproduction available at gunparts for around $75 or s...

Re: Help with an 1893
Fantastic! Thank you!
From what I can tell the magazine looks original. Other than comparing it to similar models, and keeping an eye out for the signs of Bubba, is there anything to look out for?
Thanks so much!

Help with an 1893
Looking at a Model 1893. Chambered in 32-40, serial # is D641. From what basic knowledge I have of these rifles, letter prefix in the serial # indicates it is a later model, except it says Model 1893, which indicates an early model. I am confused on this one. Did not check for a serial # under the l...

Info on a ballard
I am looking at a Ballard and would love to know any more information. Chambered in 22lr, has been refinished, is missing the rear peep sight and the ejector is broken. "Bore is dark but still has decent continuous rifling" Serial # is 32116. I am guessing its not worth much more than $300...

Seeking info on Glenfield 30's in 35 rem
I was wondering if there was any information as to the number of Glenfield 30's produced in 35 rem. I read almost 80k glenfield 30's were made, but I cannot find evidence of many in 35 rem. The information that ive seen online states that all Glenfield 30's were in 30-30 and that the Glenfield 35 wa...

Marlin 22lr mfg 1901
I am looking at an older Marlin rimfire 22lr. I am guessing it is either an 1892 or 1897, it has a tang sight and I cannot see if there is a model designation. Would love to know any more information on it. The patent roll marks on the barrel says "Marlin fire arms co. New haven ct USA Pat'd ja...

Marlin 1891 22lr
New member of the Marlin Collector Association here. I have a nice 1891 (2nd variation) I believe was built in 1894. Serial # is 104660 I was hoping there may be some more information out there on it. I was also wondering if there is a certificate of authenticity kinda thing available anywhere. Anyt...
