I have an 1881 45/70, recently restored. It has a 28" barrel & full-length magazine. Does anyone know how many shells the magazine holds? I've only put 2 or 3 at a time in it. By the way, it shoots GREAT!!!

Phil, I have a 1881 45/70 that had a broken butt stock. Wenig Gunstocks did a fabulous job matching up a butt stock with the original forestock.

Robb, one more thing that just came to mind.................the original buttstock was literally broken in half, but the forestock was OK. Robb, the stock came from Wenig gunstocks. I think the price was reasonable, but I don't know exactly what the stock cost.
