Re: Vintage/Antique Marlin Rifle
I have had a chance to look at your pictures of your rifle. It is an amazing rife as most have said. As Gunrunner has said do your homework on which auction company to work with. A few years ago I had a very rare high condition gun that I had decided to send to auction. I showed the gun to to a coup...

1881 Collection Addition
Thought I would share a recent addition to my Model 1881 collection. This is a rebated frame, 1st model, 1st variation in .45 govt. 28" barrel with no special features. What is unusual is that it is serial number 385 and I have # 322 which is not a rebated frame. I assume that receivers were ma...

Also by joining the organization you can get unlimited requests for serial number information. You also get a great Marlin Firearms Collectors magazine 3 or 4 times a year. This magazine has some good articles plus offers for some great Marlin promotional items.

Re: Where to buy an 1891 firing pin
Sounds like they need to keep more parts in stock. If your sales are low and you don't make parts to sell that usually explains low sales. I have made a few before Wisners started making them. I gave Wisners some samples of various Marlin firing pins many decades ago when the father owned it so he ...

Hope it works out for you on the transfer. If you could keep us posted on how the process worked for you it might help someone else out. Rules can change on both sides of the border. It's been a couple of years since I have done it.

Re: Unknown 1892
As everyone will tell you without pictures no one can appraise your rifle. Based on the description of the artwork and Penny added I can assure you it was not factory done. You must use a third party to post photos. Either Photobucket or Imgur.

Re: Marlin 94 25-20 hexagon Barrel
What Gunrunner is saying is correct for exporting and importing the rifle to the US from Canada. But, you have not mentioned if you are Canadian or US citizen. You need to have a firearm license in Canada in order to take possession of the rifle first. US citizens can pocess this license. Then you c...
