Re: 1894 with 1889 extractor and hole all numbers match
Yes, it is the full length. I have seen a few by Kindler like this. His newspaper ad states best prices and cheapest guns. I almost wonder if he wasn't buying damaged ones from the factory. Cutting them down and selling them. Like returns or stuff messed up in shipment.

Re: 1894 with 1889 extractor and hole all numbers match
Ok, thanks. Looks in pretty good shape but I think the Barrel is modified by Kindler. It is 23 1/2 also has a 3/4 magazine tube. I asked him for the rest of the number. It is 380 if there is a way to check it.

Hi, been a while since I was on here trying to figure this gun out for a friend. The number is 113XXX range. It also has the V. Kindler Saginaw mark. Everything matches stock floor and upper receiver. It has a screw in extractor with the through hole like an 1889. Upper tang marked 1894, Barrel has ...

marlin 1893 rifle
Thanks for the info. I also noticed while looking at it that the barrel tappers
from 3/4" to 1/2" along the flat sides of the octagon. It is not marked smokeless steel or for black powder and the receiver is case colored. Is this normal? I just cant find any info on it. Thanks Lochlan

1893 lever action project serial #129978 30-30
Hi guys I just joined the club. I was wondering if anyone had any extra parts for sale for my restoration project. I need a bolt and a lever straight or pistol grip will work since I don't have a stock yet. I also am wondering if my gun is an original 30-30 or has been re-barreled since my serial co...
