You can try some other ammo, give some Wolf MT a try. It's the cheapest match ammo out there ar $5.50 a box, but shoots great in most rifles. Check the crown, maybe a little touch up would help, any little defect will affect accuracy. Make sure the barrel is really clean, lead can look really smooth...

Beautiful rifle. Is it safe to shot and if so, have you shot it.
I love the machine work of years ago. Back when every gun was hand crafted, just fantastic. I love the scope.

I bought a used 1894 44 Mag, brass saddle ring model. I think the former owner (gun butcher)may have shortened the stock a little.
