Hello, I was wondering where I might find original sight inserts for a Ballard windage adj. front globe sight? In the past, I have had Distant Thunder burn out a set, but thought I would try to find originals first. Thanks!

Hello, JimRowe. Yes the original .22 bore was re-bored /chambered to .25-25 many many years ago, professional job. Nice and tight action, mint bore. I have used light charges of smokeless in old single-shots & know how to be careful..I wonder if I should first find an accurate load with say FFFG...

Hello, Concerning that No. 3 in .25-25. Since this is a cast action..would you recommend black powder only in this? I don't look forward to the mess in this little bore...but I sure dont want to do any damage to the gun...or myself! Thank you.

Yes, there is a very small piece of wood missing at very edge of forend tip also..my main concern was with the tip itself..Is this horn? or Ebony? this is where the largest part is missing. A professional stock maker I know can do wonders with wood..some repairs ...
