Marlin Original Model 55
Trying to get information on a Marlin Original Model 55 Goose Gun manufactured from 1962 to early 1970's for a warning of Do Not Shoot? Read the article in a magazine a while back and can't find information again. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Bill Carroll;
There are no problems with the Marlin bolt action shotguns, including the Goose Guns. The "Do Not Shoot" refers to the early, pump action shotguns made by Marlin before and just after WW I.

Due to the increasing cost of ammunition, there will be no warning shot!
