I recieved a model 19-G from my grandfather when he pasted. It is missing the pump and entire firing block, I guess thats what it is called. Anyway, I am wondering if there is anyway I can get some kind of parts list or parts period to put it back together to hang on the wall. I have pictures of the gun if that would help. Numbers I have found are:
A16339 on bottom by loading port
Pat'd dates range from May 1896 to May 1908
If anybody has any idea as to what I can do I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for your time.
Another model 19-G need parts

About the only place to find parts for your exposed hammer, pump action shotgun is on eBay. There have been several breech bolts recently, and there will be more as time goes on.
I can email you a parts diagram if you want for the Model 1898, which is very similar to the Model 19. There may be a difference in the "hang fire safety release" on the Model 19-G as it is the improved version of the Model 19. And, with the serial number given, it is a very late gun, after 1916 I suspect. You probably need the "new style" recoil safety block.
One place to check for parts is Numrich Gun Parts Corporation at http://www.e-gunparts.com. They also have parts diagrams online.
See what you can do there, and if you need a diagram, let me know....
I hope this helps.
