Marlin 1897 project
I’m in the process of restoring a Marlin 1897 22. It’s a project I’ve been working on for a while. It’s missing a number of small parts most of which I can find from various web site vendors. The main obstacle I’ve encountered is finding a breach bolt for it. If anyone has any leads on a replacement, I would appreciate a reply.

There are a couple of breech bolts for Model 39's on eBay that might be hand fitted to your Model 1897.

Due to the increasing cost of ammunition, there will be no warning shot!
