Each rifle is an entity unto itself. Only way to find out is to try it.You didn't mention if yours is one marked .44 Mag or .44 Mag/Spec.. most of the later ones will. I've had two of them and both did........Buck 8) :D
If Marlin made SA revolvers, I'd be shooting those, too!!!
