Hi all- I’m new here and really appreciate any help/ information that can be passed along to me on this one. I took this in as part of a collection and I’m trying to put a value on it. The barrel is marked RWS 20 99. With the help of a friend I found the barrel makers phone number and spoke with him (Ron Snover- awesome guy!). Said the 20 is the twist and 99 is the year he made the barrel. So I know the barrel was modernized in 99. Ron says he believes it to be a 38 cal so I will get that checked by a gunsmith.
Here’s the spicy stuff. There are no markings anywhere aside from the serial number (8292). I believe other markings were removed when the gun was engraved.. more spicy.. by Ken Hurst. So, I have what I understand to be a Ballard engraved by Ken Hurst, with a modernized barrel chambered in possibly 38 cal. Any input?
Thanks so much in advance! (Also I have no idea how to post pictures)

Going to be impossible to put a price on it sight unseen. Ken Hurst was a master engraver who did several ASSRA raffle rifles. He did some of the finest engraving I've ever seen! I would expect any single shot rifle Ken engraved to be of very high quality, but I can't even begin to guess without seeing it.
