hi, i picked up a nice marlin 1894s 20inch round barrel, crossbolt saftey, microgroove rifeling in 44-40 serial number is 44400XXX with smooth walnut stocks not checkered. I havn't seen one in this caliber before and this configuration. anybody know how many were made and when?
