Marlin 1898 Need to know a fair price ASAP

How much is a Marlin 1898 in good condition worth? I have a guy looking to sell one with a case for $150 is that a good price? He is looking to sell it and I need to get an answer and can not find it on-line. Please let me know ASAP.

Not exactly sure what good condition means, it seems to hold quite a range for specific individuals. I know were not all blessed with a kings fortune but for 150 dollars if you like it, buy it. Seen silvered parts guns go for over 100 bucks. Hard to find the 98's with a nice blue, most have patina'd, this was a working mans gun. Rarely did they make it that long with no wear, typically only the higher grades found solace and shelter.
