Manufacture Date
I have a Marlin 30 30 model 93 serial number 4580C stamped behind the trigger, looked at several sites and cannot come up with a manufacture date, can you help?

Re: Manufacture Date
Mikemurphy;
The Model '93's with the "C" suffix to the serial number are a little harder to determine the date this rifle would have been made. We tend to believe they are later, sometime in the 1930's, but before 1936. We just do not have a lot of information regarding this era in Marlin manufacturing in the way of serial number study.

Due to the increasing cost of ammunition, there will be no warning shot!
