Marlin 1893 buttstock

Post by toprod »

Greetings. I have a near mint 1893 which has a 'home-made' butt stock on it and I would like to replace it with something that fits. I have been offered one for a 1892 but am curious to know if it will fit. - Owen

No the 1892 stock will be too small. You could use a model 1894 stock, if you find one of those. Also, both Precision Gun Works, and Treebone Carving sell replacement stocks for your gun. I think Precision even sells fitted stocks, or offers fitting.
Hope this helps.
