Marlin Model 90, 410 ga. Value

Post by BarkeyVA »

I have an oportunity to buy a Marlin Model 90, .410, 26" barrels, imp. cyl/mod. Not sure of the year made (serial no. 19xx) but it has a web between the barrels. It is in excellent condition, original butt plate, good wood, and at least 95% on the barrels. Asking price (firm) is $1200. What do you think? Is that a reasonable price?

Seems a trifle high, but you seldom see them offered for sale. If you have been after one, it could be quite a while before you see another. In short, if you are convinced it's completely original, you will not be sorry later on if you buy it.

For your collection, always buy the best you can afford. SW
