Marlin model 39m

Post by Rwhula »

Yesterday I bought a Marlin model 39M. I actually didn’t know exactly what it was until I got it in my hands. It came with original box (kinda beat up) and original paperwork and scope mount. I disassembled to clean but discovered that it was most likely unaired. My question is about the value. What is it’s worth? I was going to shoot it but have decided not to until I ascertain the value of the gun. Your help is appreciated.

Rich;

It may be worth more if it is indeed unfired, but that will depend upon when your Model 39 Mountie was made. Some of the earlier Mounties are collectors items, while the later production guns not so much.
So, without knowing exactly what you have, there is no way of giving an estimation of value.
Due to the increasing cost of ammunition, there will be no warning shot!

The growing federal deficit = generational slavery to the national debt.
